One of the AIR-AWARE Project tasks was to establish slow-flow feed-back towards pollution impacted concerned authorities - urban planners, bio-monitoring impact, sanitary authorities. The goal was to achieve long-term surveillance usage of AIR-AWARE system in order to limit long-term air pollution impacts, respectively:
- to develop a remotely accessed stochastic database in GIS , enabling feedback on air quality long-term impacts on relevant indicators for: land-use planning, health and bio-indicators.
- to enable functionality for long-term time-series analysis in GIS, over ambient air contamination levels, against registered impacts for relevant impact indicators (human-health, bio-indicators).
- to trace-back stochastical (climatological) source of pollution for given impacts, identifying climatological (in stochastic terms) origin of pollution, accompanied by proposals for mitigation in land-use planning, population protection, environment state monitoring.
- to build a decision-making system supported by the slow-flow feedback on air quality.
